Senior Citizen:

You have hit the nail on the head!

All we have asked is for the City officials to explain the difference in their numbers as compared to their audits and the Office of the State Comptroller or to fix their numbers.

This is the same question asked by the County Attorney in his lawsuit. The answer provided the City was "We will fight this in court!" (at the taxpayers expense).

This recall effort began as a direct result of the Mayor and Council's unwillingness to answer the question. Their response, at Thursday's Special City Council Meeting, was to hire (at the taxpayers expense) the General Council to LULAC and MALC to fight the petition of the Registered Voters of the City of Floresville (well over 500).

It is absolutely unexplainable! All we wanted were the numbers explained.
