 		 I was actually pleasanly suprised that Longoria was willing to have the courage to host the town hall meeting. I am sure the whole ordeal is uncomfortable for her.

So, I have been thinking. ... WHY would the PTB (powers that be) want to knowingly bankupt this town?

I have known people that PLAN to file bankupcy - then go charge a bunch of stuff to their credit cards, knowing this would be part of the bankrupcy.

I know very little what happens when a TOWN goes bankupt - but I have read a little. The federal govenment steps in. I think.

So, could this be the plan?? They figure the federal government will save the day??? - I mean we can't tear down the civic center - so yeah! we built that. They want to hurry through the Sports Complex - no one could have torn that down either. So, bankrupt or not - we have these entities - even though we knowingly knew the town of Floresville could not pay for them in the end. They have been make painfully aware that there is a huge problem with the books. But, insit on pressing on??

See, when I don't get good answers - it just makes my mind search for one that will make sense.


I am just trying to crawl in their heads to see what on earth they are thinking???? ... Because what they are doing (and saying) is making absolutely no sense. Shoot, with all their lawyers, various CPA (s) and PR groups they have hired - there is still no answer to a simple math question. By, the way - more question keep getting ask - because the answers given make no sense.

I wonder if the federal govenment will bail out a town that knowingly goes bankrupt?? Is this a federal offense?? ... It has to be knowingly, because there are some that are yelling and screaming the books are incorrect.
All this may or may not be true. My mind is always trying to make sense out of things -
