RECALL THEM ALL MEETING MOVED TO STUDIO C

The location of tonight's 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. meeting has been changed to Studio C, 246 Paloma Drive, Floresville, Texas (Across from the Floresville Post Office). This change is due to a last minute telephone call received late last night from the owner of Jackís Cafe, Roxanne Longoria, stating that they did not support the Recall Them All effort and therefore would not allow the meeting to occur in their business and have removed the banner announcing the meeting.

Roxanne Longoria is married to David Longoria a political appointee to the Floresville Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors. David Longoria is on record for supporting the Mayor and City Councilís controversial effort to build a sports complex in Floresville. This effort combined with a number of alleged financial misstatements in the Cityís budget has spurred the Recall Them All effort.

There is no doubt in my mind that the actions of Jack's Cafe are due to political pressure received from the Mayor, City Council and/or City Manager. These actions, to silent the will of the people, are in direct conflict with the offices that they hold.
