What I experienced last night at the meeting was very uplifting. The interest and co-operation shown by the citizens is how a community is suppose to operate.

Mr Dickerson is correct. All of the numbers were laid out. People saw the undisputable facts.

A great question was asked of Mr. Miller about how did he catch this "mistake" when no one else did. His answer was:
He worked for the goverment - and was IN CHARGE OF BUDGETS up to $60 million, so this budget was pretty simple for him to read.

It would seem - with Mr.Miller's back ground the city officials would be asking him question how to rectify the budget.
It disturbs me the city officials find him threatening - instead of using his expertise. My inquiring mind ask WHY?

With this Town Hall Meeting - there are now more citizens with FACTS - and the facts can be spread through out the community.

Recall or not - this will not slide. The recall is one of the last ditch efforts to get the authorities attention that things are rotten in Denmark.

This is not just a Floresville nightmare coming. The officials of the county need to have great concern for Wilson County. The Commissioners need to wake up - the district attorney needs to wake up!! Why arent' they more involved???
The out laying sub-divisions need to have concern and use their voices to say - as Fred said earlier this year - "Enough"!!

Regular citizens can clearly see the huge discrepancy. Why can't the council and mayor and all the entities they have hired - see it??

Personally, I think this is the tip of the iceburg. When the lid comes off of this - it is going to be very ugly for those that allowed this to continue. This very fragil good ol boy system is going to explode. Fingers are going to start pointing and heads are going to start rolling. ... "There is no honor among theives."
