How can it be over reacting if the information that the voters used to make their election decision is proven to be wrong?

We voted for fiscally sound leaders.

The so-called leaders should EMBRACE a recall instead of fighting it because their validity as officials is completely questionable. A recall offers them the opportunity to prove that the people want them. A vote of confidence. These officials should sign the petition and bring this to a vote. If they are confident in their positions they will not fear an election.
