Tracy it is like this, in 2004 you and others wanted to boycott the Bill Miller family for wanting to build 2000 houses on land that was adjacent to Toyota instead of allowing the City of SA to zone all that as commercial so Toyota could move in. Boycotting Bill Millers is like this recall. The Mayor and City Manager, City Council is like the Miller family and the citizens would be the City of SA, and the RTA is like what you and others wanted to do to boycott Bill Miller resturants. Does it make sense now?

The Council has yet to say anything, notice how silent they are. Mr Gomez keeps saying he is proud to be hispanic and represent those that are hispanic in this city, which has nothing to do with what they are being recalled for. This isn't a race issue. The City Manager has a history of budget concerns, according to the task force officers that use to work with him. Still have yet to figure out why Mr. Pena will not pick up the case or maybe he is investigating before.
Sending out the notices for the public forum and the press release from the 23rd was a stupid move and is just them spending money. It isn't a party issue. City government is not run on party money, it is run on taxpayer money. Those notices were sent out in City of Floresville envelopes and City of Floresville letterhead, therefore using taxpayer dollars. I sure hope there is an expenditure for that itemized part of the bill because it cannot fall under sending out water bills since that is probably the address listings they used.
Plus it is nice that you are standing up for your friend, the mayor. But that doesn't answer the questions nor does it help his imagine. All it does is solidify they are hiding something and trying to weazel their way out.
