Tracy:

1) I appreciate the recital of your resume. However, very much like the Mayor and City Council here in Floresville, you fail to answer the question. Why does a self proclaimed political activist who lives in Somerset and is the former Chairman of the San Antonio Democratic League feel the need to participate in this discussion and attend the Q&A Forum scheduled by the Mayor and City Manager?

2) You have obviously missed the point. Yes, the Mayor and City Council can use taxpayer funds in mailing to the residents of the city, retaining lawyers to fight the will of the citizens, hire a PR Firm to spin away from the facts and even engage a political activist group. All of this is being done at the expense of the needs of the city and still none of the questions originally asked 5 months ago are being answered.

This Q&A Forum by the Mayor and City Manager is nothing less than a feeble attempt to quiet the concerns of the community, avoid the questions that have been asked over and over again for 5 months and derail the already strong Recall effort! None the less, I will be in attendance with question at the ready. At the very least it will be entertaining.
