 		 Just got off of work, anyone record this? Tracy it has always been 5 million! LOOK AT THE numbers! And your right it may go up again. What bonehead would NOT use historical numbers and past numbers in preparing a budget? Oh yeah, one that doesn't know how to compile a city budget! You have the blind leading the blind in city hall. Experience?, isn't that just with law enforcement and even then his (Joslin) time with the 81st Task Force and managing that budget is currently being investigated as well. I hope Mr. Pena or someone from his office was there looking at these numbers as well.
So what if the city council ceases? There are other cities in America that have gone through this and they came out fine, if not better. There will be a judge that will not be influenced by anyone or anything that will appoint a council to continue things, not everything has to cease and apparently that was a scare tactic, but I am glad that he said that and the PR firm allowed him to. What a PR firm. Yes that is a state jail felony and apparently there were plenty of witnesses at this to hear what Mr. Mayor said.
Yeah opening an antique mall after the building sat there for how long? Ask new business owners how hard it was/is to start a business here and they will tell you it is beyond work.
Jim's right about taxes going up, just because the rate is the same, which is no one's fault but the councils so STOP boasting about it, because look at where it has us. Also someone posted something earlier about the community center and the name. I hope the council is ready to apologize to Lauro's family. His name is NEVER on anything that goes out and that was another tactic to get it passed, because what voter was not going to be sympathic to honor a hometown fallen soldier, especially since that wound was still new. That community center could of been named after someone else or not named after anyone as it is being advertised now, and it is on its second name right now!
