CASA VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR, FULL-TIME POSITION. Provides professional staff support to CASA volunteers to ensure that abused children’s best interests are represented in court. Social services experience required.  Responsible for assisting with recruiting and initial training of advocates, and coordinating cases in Wilson County and Karnes County with Atascosa County (home office). Must demonstrate written and presentation communication skills. Must be available to work intermittent evenings/weekends with some travel.  Must have personal car, current TDL, and auto liability insurance. If the job is so thankless we should expext some resignations soon. What we have are lawyers and PR firms hired at our expense for people to maintain power against the will of the people.

If the Mayor and Council see themselves as servants, performing a thankless job that nobody wants, they wouldnt be hiring law firms and holding open houses to keep their positions.

If they have our interest in mind they will resign. If the recall prevents the city from having elected officials, and they believe that is a problem, they should resign and prevent it. If they resign they can be repaced immediately.
