Stauback was a miracle worker with a football. If there is 2 minutes left and he needed a touchdown...don't bet against it. he was an excellent quarterback and along with Tom Landry, they made quite a dashing pair and set an excellent example for kids. When they left (landry was fired), the Cowboys lost all their class and appeal for me...I have been a jerry jones/Cowboys hater every since. My favorite team on Sunday is WIPTC (Whoever is Playing the Cowboys). I watch the cowboys sometimes at home when i think they'll lose just to see the expression mostly on jerry Jones (the opposite kinda fella from Stauback and Tebow) face when they do lose.

And, now comes along this big, handsome, strapping guy that doesn't mind showing his faith to the world. If he never won a game, his demeanor and inner goodness would be enough. But, turns out Tim Tebow is one of those Christians that can slay the Philistines (football opponents) with the jawbone of an ass. It couldn't get much better than that especially when he is the hero in the waiing minutes of a game.

Thinks for bringing back thoughts of Roger Stauback and comments about Tim Tebow. Not to worry if Tim Tebow is going to be a winner...News Flash! He already is a winner and has nothing more to prove to me.
