In a special meeting today with the County Attorney, City Attorney, and previous Auditor Mr. Malcolm Gulley the historical numbers presented in all previous budgets were corrected as had been requested by the County Attorney!!

Guess what folks, as we have stated all along -- THE NUMBERS WERE WRONG!!!!

This was the original request of the citizens, taxpayers, and businesses owners of the community. The fact that it took 5 months of being told that we were wrong, did not understand, and to sit down and shut up -- not to mention this lawsuit or the initiation of a Recall Petition before this issue was addressed by the elected and appointed officials is unacceptable!

At the very least the Mayor owes this City a public apology.

Danny, your post here is typical of your arrogance and most descriptive of your inability to serve as a representative of the citizens of this community.

Side note - The basis for the withdrawal of this lawsuit has validated the charge of incompetence, misconduct, and malfeasance stated in the Recall Petition!
