Jim Miller Floresville, TX January 13, 2012 10:53am	what the How is having the City admit to and fix their misstatements of revenue, expenses and other other City funds a waste of taxpayer dollars? The County Attorney acted to the fullest extent of his authority! Any further action must be taken by the District Attorney or the Feds. There is evidence that additional investigations are ongoing. Yes, now the City has admitted that their numbers were wrong and has produced a Revised Budget Worksheet that is a true reflection of their audits. $5.1 million in adjustments were made to the last three years of historical numbers. As to the Recall Petition. All the City Officials have done to this point is add credence to their unwillingness and inability to serve as representatives of the people. They have demonstrated that transparency and honesty are not characteristics of their roles as elected officials.
