Tracy - Your inability to see the obvious or hope that the populous will not see the truth is even more obvious to anyone who can claim and 8th grade education or higher.

Yes, the County Attorney withdrew this lawsuit. He did not drop the lawsuit. But why did he withdraw the lawsuit??

The lawsuit requested that the budget numbers accurately reflect the audits of FY 07/08, 08/09 and 09/10 as the approved budget of 8/25/2011 clearly did not! The city officials, whom you are backing, stated that their budget numbers were accurate and they would answer this lawsuit in court. They capitulated long before this issue ever went to court. The County Attorney in his lawsuit was accurate! The numbers presented in the City's budget were in-fact contrary to the number presented in the City's own audit. Hence their most recent actions.

And what of your hero's actions? They provided a Revised Budget Worksheet, that oh-by-the-way included over $5.1 million in adjustments, that now accurately reflects it's own audits. Everything that the lawsuit filed by the County Attorney required was now presented by your heroes before going to court. The County Attorney, unfortunately, can not pursue criminal prosecutions. This is limited to the Chief Law Enforcement Office in Wilson County, one of your Democrat friends, Rene Pena, 81st District Attorney.

Tracy, you and King Danny continue to attempt to spin this as if there was never anything wrong. If that was the case, why then did the City capitulate and file with the District Court a Revised Budget Worksheet to accurately reflect it's own audits that included over $5.1 Million in adjustments to the historical numbers ? Why then, did your friends have to bring in accountants and lawyers to justify these adjustments to the County Attorney?

No, the fact that the County Attorney withdrew the lawsuit is not an acquittal of any wrongdoing. The facts are, that the City, your heroes, had to answer his demands with over $5.1 Million in adjustments to their "accurate" budget to demonstrate that it was reflective of it's own audits and financial statements.

I am not sure that I would be wanting to claim victory if I were you!
