I'm afraid that we're about to experience this associative theorem..

If Obama is the second term of Carter
Then Romney will be the second term of Bush Sr.

Bush got to coast on the accomplishments of Reagan and a bump from the Gulf War I. Romney will not be able to coast on anything, in fact he's inheriting a house on fire. So far in this campaign, with a few exceptions, his ability to take and hold a position has been milquetoast.

The media and PACs have done a masterful job of manipulating the outcome to make Romney the candidate. ABC's impending broadcast of Gingrich's ex-wife (of many years ago) talking trash about him is an excellent example. Gingrich has already freely admitted that he was a scoundrel of a husband and has since accepted Christ and repented (before he became a candidate). So, what is the real story here? It is clear that ABC's motivation is to stir decades up marital dirt in order to make sure Romney is the candidate. Anyone else who challenges him should expect the same (like Herman Cain did).

How does it feel? How does it feel to have the candidate already decided before Texas even gets to vote? At the rate the courts are going, the convention may happen before Texans can vote.
