Help Wanted

ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.
The Floresville Independent School District is accepting applications for District Wide Custodian Positions, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. shift. This is great! I never thought I would live to see LV taxpayers speak out like this. Yes it is cheaper to clean a dirty house rather than continue to live in corruption any longer.

Super Harvey was told on 10 Aug 2011 that I was going to file a complaint regarding the last land deal and made sure the deal was sealed 3 days later. My complaint was received on 11 Aug 2011!

In the last 10 years LVISD has been able to screw the taxpayer on 2 land deals, pass a $9 million dollar bond and then the wonderful $35 million dollar bond for that lovely Auditorium and lighted tennis courts and football fieldI tried to wake people up on that one, but to no avail. So now is the time to become involved, stand behind the good teachers who are not in the 'click' and make changes that are so desperately needed to clean this mess up.
