Rock'n chair Rambler Over Taxed, TX February 1, 2012 8:11am	Any system that taxes one person at a higher rate than another is inherently unfair, unjust and imoral. Yet, our entire tax code does exactly that. What amazes me is the absolutely insane insistence of the American people to go along with it, including many so-called conservative thinkers and pundits, not to mention members of congress. The notion that a rich person should pay a higher percentage of taxes than a poor man comes directly from Marxist socialist theory of egalitarianism, spreading the wealth and class envy. This is the theory that led to the Russian communist revolution and eventually the Soviet Union. But, this insanity does not stop with federal income taxation. Our property tax system is based on wealth, or the value of our property. On what lunatic theory of fairness do we come to the conclusion that a person with an expensive home should pay more for the same county services and schools than a person living in a shack, other than his apparent "ability" to pay more? - From each according to his means, to each according to his needs???
