4 th Generation Texan Sutherland Springs February 1, 2012 4:23pm	"Jane Addams"...do you really think public officials listen to individuals? LOL! I found out a long time ago, that elected officials only care what you have to say about 3 months from election time, MAYBE! So, I would tell you that anyone is wasting their time to individually contact these yoyos. The only way to REALLY get their attention is to form a group of at least 500 or so, call yourself something like the "LV community Public Official overview Group", raise a few bucks to contribute to public official campaigns, and start letting them know that you have money $$$$ and a big pair of boots that you either will help or hurt them come election time. They'll listen to you under these circumstances otherwise you might as well take the afternoon off, go to a movie and have a big bag of popcorn and a coke for all your time calling them will accomplish. BOTTOM LINE: Public officials resent taxpayers and will flick you off most of the time.
