Rock'n chair Rambler
Over Taxed, TX
February 21, 2012 10:08am

Ever notice how many of today's problems can be traced back to Dear Ol' Uncle FDR, and his nanny statist ideas?

FDR's brilliant idea called Social Security was intended to solve the problem of old age poverty, which many people faced back in the 1930s. It was not intended to be a supplemental pension plan, as so many people have come to believe and depend. At best, it was an ill-conceived and poorly managed forced savings plan.

As it turns out, however, it was none of the above. It was just another tax disguised as insurance, that has been totally spent and wasted along with all the other tax revenues. It was a scam, but not really a scheme.

The whole Ponzi scheme scam was never a scheme at all, other than to fool the people into accepting another tax with the belief that some day, when they retire, they might see some of it again.

Brilliant.
