Disgusted Taxpayer
La Vernia
March 7, 2012 4:07pm

Well, Well, Well, If this doesn't tell the story about who runs La Vernia. No names mentioned, but everyone knows who it is!

It has always been known that the City of La Vernia is run through the School District. Now if all allegations are proven (some already have been) then what happens to Super Harvey? Has the Board just made sure that he will be paid for covering up all the nepotism, alleged embezzlements, the 2nd time around of acquiring land that is not justified?????????

The fact that they acquired land from the Director of Finance in August 2010 and the slap in the face to the LVISD taxpayers when on 12 August 2010, Super Harvey and the Director of Finance - Laura Ramzinski approved the transfer of $853,000.00 to her Title Company in Floresville. On 13 August 2010 (Friday the 13th!) she and her hubby became the "almost millionaires" with our tax dollars. This school district DID NOT HAVE JUSTIFICATION FOR PURCHASING THIS LAND it was based on the study done for the 2006 $35 million dollar Bond that you, the taxpayer, passed! Feeling Better Now

Watch out La Vernia, next, the land will be sold to a local developer at 1/2 the cost that your tax dollars paid for it!.

I am proud of the 1 disenting vote! Good for you. I am sure that your life will be filled with stress from now on until your term is up. But you have gained respect from the Taxpayers who are fed up!
