ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Wow I knew the WCN was biased but come on. I post a comment congratulating the FPD and state a FACT about another law enforcement agency an it's removed. You have allowed many many people to comment on here and make statements that are outright slanderous against city officials but you don't dare remove them because your view is one sided and it's obvious that you are against the city administration as well. I did not mention a single name and my comment is removed while most of the blogs dealing with city administration use names on a regular basis. Typical news media. Everyone knows that drugs are a huge problem here and FPD is out actively pursuing them. That's great because that's what a law-enforcement agency is supposed to do, but on the other hand their is a law enforcement agency in this county that chooses to ignore the drug problem and has a supervisor that is very against the officers under his watch actively pursuing drug offenders.
