Help Wanted

ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Another one down the street from the PD office. WOW... this should say something about that side of town. Hopefully more active patrol will be taken seriously and maybe some undercover work!!!
Now on to Save Floresville - The PD is doing their job in their jurisdiction. The office you are speaking of, which is the SO, does do their job out in the county. Why should they do anything in the city when there is a suitable PD that takes care of the city and as far as the city administration, their mistakes speak for themselves and prove that none of them can be trusted, it has been proven time and time and time and times over.
When you want to pick on the SO get some good information that is factual and to their jurisdiction. Not a rumored fact, but a proven fact that everyone needs to know. So Save Floresville, stick to the city of Floresville and leave the rest of the county to those that know what they are speaking of.
