The GOP and the TEA party all scream the national debt is too high. Yet when the Dem seek ways to cut the budget, the GOP declares there is a war against____________...and you fill in the blank. Everyone wants less spending, but don't cut my stuff, cut other folk's program. Retire Republican Senator from Wyo, Allen Simpson, is absolutely correct; the budget will be brought under control with spending cuts (yes, favorite programs) AND tax increases (and yes, for the wealthy as well). Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.
