4 th Generation Texan Sutherland Springs March 13, 2012 10:50am	"Prairie Grouch"...whether the retiree is a combat veteran or not, the simple fact remains that they fulfulled the contract given to them by the USA and as with all contracts, one party gives something in return for getting something. The something given is retirement fees if the retiree performs their given duties to the satisfaction of the Military Branch they serve. And, even if they were not Combat veterans, they were available if called upon to serve in the field. And, if everyone served in the field, who would perform other necessary functions like supplying the miliary with equipment, weapons, food, etc? How many people would volunteer to serve if there was not a non-combat person to perform the duties of preparing paychecks? I find anyone that has worn a uniform immensely more worthy than someone like Obama who is too much of a 'meow meow' to do that. I just hate it that Obama gets to breathe the same air as any military personnel he comes into contact with.
