To 4th Gen Tx.....I appreciate the long article
attempting to justify what is and will continue to
be a giant ponzi scheme that future generations will
pay and pay without being assured of receiving any
benefits. I guess that you are condoning false
promises made by the government obligating future generations
to suffer the consequences. Lots of local governments
and state governments are facing financial disaster based
on past promises that were not fully funded. I don't
don't if you are old enough to remember but SS contributions were so low that we use to meet our
required maximum payment a few months before year end.
It is people like you that is going to make entitlement
reform so difficult. I have no problem with pensions
or retirement plans if they are fully funded. It's really
pathetic when you expect our children to pay for your
benefits. Stand on you own feet and stop defending
being a leech.
