It is really a shame that the libertarians will try to make their isolationists argument with the same false claims made by the Islamic terrorist propaganda media.

The motivations for 9/11 had nothing to do with the sanctions on Iraq. Bin Laden couldn't care less about Iraq. He offered to invade Iraq himself with his "freedom fighters" from Afghanisturd to protect his sacred muslim Arabia. Actually he was more angry at the Saudi royals for kicking his butt out of the sacred holy Arabia for badmouthing them after they turned him down in favor of us.

It was not the sanctions on Iraq. It was our mere pressence in Saudi Arabia that he used to stir up the hatred and recruit the suicidal maniacs for 9/11.

Besides, if Saddam hadn't used his oil money to build bunkers and palaces and buy tanks, he could have fed those 500,000 starving children caviar and ice cream.

As usual, Mr. Richman has not done his homework.
