I ain't that old, and I don't plan on getting that drunk tonight. " So I ask, what in the proposed new law will prevent the dead from voting" Oh come on, flyboy. You aren't that dim. Can you say, picture? Think of it as like trying to hang some paper on Ol' dead Uncle Charlie's bank account. Sure, you can do it but you're gonna get caught. They ask for ID. Absentee voting is and will continue to be a source of fraud, if it is not addressed in the new law. Uncle Charlie will continue to receive the ballots in the mail, and his wife or kids will just fill them out and send them in. That happens a lot. They also keep getting and cashing his SS checks. Other than requiring every county coroner in the country to notify the election board and SS admin of every death, I don't know what else could be done about it. Apparently, it is the resposibility of the family members to notify the SS Admin. of a death. Obviously some don't.
