Help Wanted

LVUMC Childcare Ministries has an immediate opening for a Pre-K Assistant Teacher and Pre-K Extended Care Teacher, the positions are Mon.-Fri., 7 a.m.-4 p.m. These positions require a love for children and must be able to work well with children and parents. ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED, part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson, and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested please call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Didn't need to. It was done by NYU. That pretty much says it all. Look, if you think for one minute that they didn't do this survey to prove a preconceived belief, you are just simply naive. Otherwise, why do it?

The fact remains, nobody is hurt by this. It is a non-issue and you know it. Bogus. Nada.

If you can find anyone who wants to vote but can't because of this law, give me the name and I'll see to it they get some help with an ID. If the damn Democraps won't help the guy, or gal, I'm sure someone from the GOP will hop right over there and give them a ride to the DMV to get a photo ID.
