"Grouch' there is NO ONE more busy that me. I work anywhere from 60 to 100 hours/week depending on need. And, If I can find time to keep up with probably the one most important area that effects the most people to the greatest degree (politics) then they can too... Oddly enough, most of those people that didn't know who Nancy Pelosi was did know what Lady Gaga's latest music video was titled. And, they could answer other questions about movie stars, music artists but couldn't answer basic political questions. NO! The reason is not that they are busy and don't have time to keep up, they just don't have the will to follow politics.

I suppose those people don't understand that politics is the past, future and current determinate of almost everything these days about their lives for themselves, their friends, and their families
