4 th Generation Texan

I do not know how accurate the figures are...they came from the government. But, actually what Texas does get back vs how much is sent in is NOT pretty good...Texas was #37 on the list which is in the bottom half. Some of the states received over $2 back for every $ they sent in. No one hates to give up any States Rights to the Feds, but I also hate to refuse funds that are rightful ours. That's what put me in a quandry. I don't know what makes the Feds believe they have the right to attach provisions that reduce states rights t to get money that is rightful the states. This is kinda like giving a buddy $1 to buy me a vanilla cone. He also collects the same $1 from two or three other friends. But when he returns with my cone, he gives me $.06 back and demands to have the first lick off my cone. And the other two or three friends get double dip cones of vanilla/strawberry and get almost the whole $1 back. You just know that if I refused the cone, my buddy would eat the cone himself or give it to some girl to get a kiss. But, Obama has carried this to a new high.
