Rock'n chair Rambler
Over Taxed, TX
April 4, 2012 5:11pm
"300,000 Texas women lost their access to cancer screenings, mammograms, and preventative care."
You can blame Obama for that, sweetie.
"The trans-vaginal sonogram, an invasive, expensive, and medically unnecessary procedure..."
Sex is also invasive but you ain't complainin' about that procedure. If you did, maybe you wouldn't be needing a free abortion.
"For a woman facing the hardest of decisions, to be forced to endure this shaming test is punitive and disgraceful"
Actually, the hardest decision was made prior to finding herself in the position of being pregnant with a child she can't afford, doesn't want, and wants to kill. That is far more shaming than a sonogram.
"they do not support sex education or contraception "
Sex education? Who's against it? Maybe they are against teaching kindergarten kids about homosexuals and condoms in the public schools, but none of that has anything to do with this issue. And nobody is against contraception except the Pope and last time I checked, he's not in the Congress, or our state Legislature. What people are against is having the taxpayer pay for your contraceptives.
"...contraception itself--the key to control over our lives..."
Wow, you must have a very simple life. All you need to control your life is to hop on down to any old drug store and buy it.
"Decades ago, women fought for and won equality under the law."
So now it's about time you ante up like the rest of us men and pay for your sex.
"We demand the right to make our own reproductive decisions with our physicians."
Maybe you do need some education. You seem to be
confusing reproduction, which is producing life, with abortion, which is ending life. What you are really demanding is the right to kill your unborn children with the help of your doctor. You already have that right. You don't have the right to make me pay for it.
"...a roar will be heard from women..."
I am woman, hear me roar!!! I think it is you that wants to go back a few decades... to the good ol' bra burning heydays. Have a nice trip.
