Bob and Puzzled.....taxes.....did you two world
travelers pay income tax during the time that you
were working in foreign countries ?????? Or did
you take advantage of the exemption.....Maybe you
both could send that money into the treasury. Bob,
you were definitely right about the different type
of travelers.....I spent three years in Europe and
haven't any idea of the culture except for maybe
the October fest. Also spent 3 years living in the
Canal Zone with the same result. My two tours in
Alaska did not really impact my world view.
A real estate agent friend of mine in Rockport.
Texas who also owned a small motel remarked "The
worst year of my life was the year that I paid no taxes.
