Jim - what angered me the most about the meeting last night was the mayor\'s manipulation of the meeting to suit his desires and his blatant disregard of the charter rule allowing citizens to speak before the vote. It sickened me that those people were sitting below the quilt of the American flag and making a mockery out of our constitutional rights -- and those of Marones and Guerrero. How can Ms. Castillo and Mr. Flores walk the streets of Floresville and look its citizens in the eyes? Oh, that\'s right ... Mr. Flores doesn\'t live here at this time. Since he was there last night, I consider the \"leave of absence\" null and void. After he misses the next three meetings, the issue needs to be back on the agenda -- and this time, Guerrero and the citizens should have the chance to speak. The mayor\'s refusal to let Guerrero move that particular agenda item up to the front was an insult -- the mayor can do it, but a councilman can\'t?? The evening was like watching a stage play -- orchestrated and acted out according to the mayor\'s prior discussions with his bobble heads...and please, Mr. Mayor, don\'t call me and try to pacify me or convince me you\'re right; I\'m having no part of it.
