 		 I believe the Jesus, upon whom Christianity was built and who was crucified, would be mortified to see the extent to which big time religion, catholics, protestants, etc. have strayed from the ideals he preached in the Gospels. The modern day Christian, cafeteria style, picks and chooses which of His sayings to adhere to, while neglecting his more succinct and deliberatly disarming sayings.

How could modern day Christian disciples advocate wars, as some preachers have done? Jesus did not advocate any wars at all, in fact...the entire communist nation of Soviet Republic was taken down without a single shot being fired.

Many evangelicals opted for war against the Muslims and advised Bush to do so, while the Catholic Church cautioned against that folly, knowing full well that modern day wars do NOT settle anything...they only displace people and replace the ruling proletariat with equally asbysmal leaders whose prime directive is to make money for "numero uno" namely themselves at the expense of those subjects or citizens under their care.

If you really want some eye opening insights, go to www.spiegel.de/international, a German online newspaper to see the lies that have been told about the current dollar slump and the current president's ineptitude in this grave matter or see the truths that have NOT been told in the US that would cause wholesale panic. The world is watching the shenanigans in the White House and wondering just who is leading and why we are hell-bent on self-annhilation of the dollar and the entire economy of the US with it and countries like Germany and others too.

Humans are very resilient, otherwise, governments and kingdoms would have destroyed humanity ages ago
over religious fanatiscm and beliefs and now commodities like gold, coal, oil, property, etc.

The Dollar is worth next to nothing...and I don't know what or who can save it's demise, but other people in the world do not believe that America can last at this current rate so... just who is waiting in the wings to walk in and take over when the dollar completely collapses...will it be a Fascist or communist style dictatorship or a One World style governnment that was advocated by Bush, Sr in his Trilateral agreement in the 1970s?

Articles in the German paper, de.Spiegel seem to believe that China holds the largest amount of dollars so which style of government will arise from the ashes of the USA and who will be left to see the new world order?

From this pessimistic viewpoint also comes hope that Americans will hunker down and just ride out the coming wave of changes on the horizon as we have done before.

America has only 200+ years of history to fall back on, but it is the only style of government that equalizes the human element in government and enables all people to become successful and wealthy if they are willing to work hard and adapt. Lets remember just what gave this great nation the lure that pulled so many immigrants and people from around the world in this brief time span to become a great nation...not founded on elitism or a particular brand of religion but on just plain folks who dreamed dreams and worked hard and were rewarded for that hard work and not taxed beyond ordinary measures.

Getting back to religion, religion can help this process of returning the USA to its roots, but religion has to get out of government period...no exceptions and take care of the spiritual and corporeal needs of the people...PERIOD!
