Well, I am not a lawyer nor am I a judge . . . as such I can only speak what I think.

What the Mayor posts in the Social Media is entirely up to him. However, when he signs the postings "Daniel M. Tejada, Mayor" it would seem that he is addressing the citizens of the community, not just his personal groupies. . .

Facebook is a public forum and the information posted there becomes public record. It can have quite an impact . . . just ask the former Congressman Weiner.
