you read the remarks from the accountant, he refers to "netting" of receipts. This infers that so much cash was taken to buy the concession supplies, so much was sold, here is what we made. That is the oldest trick in the book to hide cash. When you look at the entries as seperate expenditures and seperate gross revenues, you get a margin of return. Then you reconcile that back to how many you bought and are left over, to see if it all adds up. A case of sodas(24), cost $12, you grossed $24 selling them at a dollar apiece. they are all sold but we only grossed $20, what happened. They broke, workers drank them, somebody pocketed $4, ? Where are the receipts for the holiday bash ??? Sloppy controls just don't happen, they are designed to be that way for a reason.Start Digging.
