First of all , I think the city council owes Jim Miller an apology. He was the first concerned citizen to bring the budget irregularities to the surface. He was ridiculed and told that he doesn't understand the budget. It is now clear that the city manager is the one that doesn't understand. The recall attempt was based on this level of incompetence and the blatant cover up by the elected officials in Floresville. I wish the audit would have been completed before the petitions went out. I believe there would have been more than enough signatures to have put it on the ballot.I am glad that Jim is vindicated and now everyone in Floresville knows who is to blame. Thank God that good old fashioned grass roots and citizen activism can still make a difference . Stand up and give yourselves a pat on the back, citizens for a job well done. Don't let up the pressure or else they will go back to their old mischievous ways.
