Xavier, the Chamber does nothing but have "mixers" to promote networking...oh and luncheons. The visitor's center, well they have everything in there but stuff from Floresville. All other visitor centers around TX have brochures of their towns, focusing on what is GREAT about their town and here you get nothing. When you call you get nothing most of the time. There are a few good people that have tried to make it what it should be but...it never gets going. They should promote the town and they do not--outside of Floresville. If it went away, nobody would miss it. The chamber is the same, when you open a business here in Floresville and call them to see what is necessary to open the business they cannot tell you. When I opened my business I had to search myself and a call to them was a waste.
