Mr Vipond, I didnt mean to insult your position or Chamber of Commerce, I was simply stating a fact that I never see anyone there. Not sure if your Chamber has any say so in trying to get bigger and better business in this town to help the growing economy. Not much to do here for kids or families or anything of interest for folks to want to come to Floresville to visit. I would love to see a sports complex, larger pool and more things for the kids to do here, but I would rather have the folks in Floresville get thier issues addressed first when it comes to the infastructure the town needs. My question to you is when you go to the council meetings or network with the city manager, do you emphazies to him the need to listen to the residents of Floresville and push for the repairs of waste water facility and other issues the citizens have. If you are in his network and you have a concern for Floresville, it would seem that you would counsel him on those issues as well as how to bring bigger businesses to Floresville for the economy and to create jobs.
