The mayor said on his FB that Wilson County Patriots are waging war against the "youth of Floresville." A ludicrous statement, of course, meant to incite. Because the Patriot group does not want taxpayers to be pledged to the hilt with taxes for his vision of a sports complex, the mayor has transposed that to mean the Patriots are against improvements/repairs to the ball fields. Even if that were true, the majority of youth who use those fields are from outlying areas -- not Floresville.
