Concerned Resident,

I couldn't agree with you more on your statements. My blog was not intended as a 'racial' reprimand but as an historical reminder of actual factual events that took place in order for our country to, shall we say, begin mending the atrocious ways in which we treated other human beings in our rugged past. The only reason it was black history is that none of our minorities, or the majority for that matter, have the same political and/or cultural reasons for selecting our government representatives. They simply can't be lumped together.

You are absolutely correct as well when you state that there are welfare recipients in all races. There are far more anglos on those programs, by number, than any other race. But, as a percentage of the anglo population, a much lower rate. That can only mean that our anglo population does not follow a strict party line in their voting decisions. Many white republicans bought into Mr. Obama's flowery promises and elected him. Otherwise, he would never had received his victory. Now they are having serious second thoughts.

There is far more I could add to this reply but that's material for another day.
