Excellent article. It highlights the vast difference
in societal norms to which various age groups in our
nation subscribe. Everybody has an excuse for deviate
and criminal behavior. The serial killer was raised
in a broken home or he/she was sexually abused as
a child. Just because one was born with a propensity
for a certain type of behavior is not an excuse for
engaging in that behavior. Parents have a responsibility
to teach their children the rules of a civilized society.
