Values and principals are a base line...and the distance that the current participants deviate from that baseline will indicate how morally disfunctional we are. At this moment in history, America has a really bad moral deficit. Most of the current moral dysfunction has occurred just over the last generation going back into the 1960's. Almost all of the stuff on tv, internet, cds and all other types of communication and entertainment contain a lot of language, actions, views that would have been loudy condemned only a short generation ago. I remember in the 50's there was a show that was censored cause the main character used the word 'pregnant' on the air. Now, we get hemorrhoid commercials, condum commercials, penile enlargement commercials, and do I need to mention the dirty/filthy racist, hateful, violent, filthy language in our music culture? The more freedom we get to use this dirty/filthy/racist/hateful/violent language and actions the further we are getting away from our roots and closer to a totally immoral society.

I do not feel comfortable with all the gay stuff the general public has to suffer through. I feel that the gay community is unneedfully ramming their life style down people's throats.

I have stopped going to movies because most of the movies have gratuitous filty language and sex scenes that have little or nothing to do with the story line. And, I haven't even mentioned all the left leaning Hollywood directors and writers that are slipping liberal story lines into places where I don't appreciate them.

I find America a totally different place than the place I grew up and I don't have any appreciation of many of the things I am seeing. America has a moral problem...BIG TIME MORAL PROBLEMS.
