Help Wanted

Bookkeeper position for local fundraising company. Accounts payables/receivables. Process cash receipts. Monthly bank reconciliations, general journal entries and financial reports. Knowledge of Peachtree/Sage 50 preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required as well as GAAP. Apply in person at 1371 FM 1346, La Vernia.
Water Clerk. The City of Elmendorf  has an opening for a fulltime Water Clerk. Preferred candidates should have good organizational skills and perform routine clerical duties, need to possess good communication skills in dealing with the general public. Duties include receptionist functions, water department billing, processing payments and reconciling daily receipts.  Starting pay is $13.50 per hour. High School diploma or equivalent and drug screening is required. Computer experience, cashier experience and bilingual ability is a plus. Johnny I appreciate your article and your committment to your candidate of choice.
Senior Citizen is correct in that the Tea Party does not have a membership, but we do have supporters. In order to be effective, even though we are grassroots, we must also be focused and organized. This entails having a plan of action and acting on it.
Wilson County Patriots have been very active in this Community as well as on the National level. Our mission, which coincides with the San Antonio Tea Party, can be found on our website.
I hope that Facts Only Please will be able to encourage more Lavernia residents to get involved. Whether you are a Conservative or not their policy decisions affect you and your family.
