DTR, you are absolutely correct and I completely agree with you about united we stand and divided we fall, our city council and mayor have created a great division between citizens and them by going against our wishes and the law to move forward with the sports complex. They have failed to represent us, so we have lost confidence and trust and we refuse to unite with them. We will elect those who wish to unite with the citizens on election day and not divide us. Citizens have clearly voiced they want water street and sewer infrastructure improved first and foremost not a sports complex. A city entity is being sued by our county attorney for breaking the law and possibly facing another lawsuit for breaking a legal agreement with the county our city leaders have created division not just with their constituents but with the county and also with FISD by failing to pay as agreed for the college program. If kids are so important to them as they claim why not make education a priority so they can get a better job than selling popcorn and peanuts at the sports complex.
