Help Wanted

ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Floresville I drove our quite streets this afternoon and drove to plum,goliad,1,2,3,a,b,7,8 a bunch of streets and could name somebody I new on every street,I wonderd how many people does Jim Miller know?How could he care for people here if he doesnt know who we are?I really think we need to unite together and not let this man divide us.He may have some ideas that sound good,he may be able to recite the city charter he may seem like he knows numbers but does he know you?Will he be there for you?In case you dont know most of these bloggers dont even live in the city and have something negative on almost all blogs.Just look them up on any blog on the WCN and you will see for yourselves.United we stand divided we fall.See you at the polls!
