DTR, an outsider cannot care for people of Floresville? So, all charities to non-local communities should stop because those people giving don't care. Or is it only people in Floresville care? So, when someone runs for President we can only vote for the Texan? So, you voted for Bush every time he ran for President and you supported Governor Rick Perry's run for President?

What do roots have to do with making the right choices? Just because you were born and raised here doesn't make you better than anyone else. Great ideas come from everywhere that is why America is so great. Outsiders can have a respect for the city and cherish its history and still make it better. Sometimes old ideas get in the way of new and better ideas.

What reason is he running for City Council? According to you, he has no reason, but political agenda. That just doesn't make sense. You are looking very juvenile in your thought process. I thought the whole reason for running for office was to accomplish your political agenda. A political agenda is your ideas of how to make the place better for all not a small group of roots that haven't grown intellectually or geographically. Your Mayor’s politically agenda was to build a convention center and a Sports Complex at the expense of infrastructure and worthwhile growth. He even said recently, he started the Sports Complex concept SIX year ago.

I have been to the city council meetings and I am not impressed at their communication skills and especially not their math skills. I would suggest the folks appear to be in over there head especially as the coffers grow. Mr. Miller appears to want fiscal accountability, open dialogue with the citizens and fiscal responsibility as well as infrastructure improvements and appropriate growth projects. So, instead of calling people names, present some factual information on the good, bad and ugly on whatever your point of view is. Your point of view right now appears to be short sighted, parochial and illogical.
