Help Wanted

The Wilson County Appraisal District is accepting applications and/or resumes for an entry level Field Appraiser position. Responsibilities include office and field work associated with the appraisal of all types of properties. Applicants must be willing to complete the requirements to obtain an RPA designation through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Interested applicants must have reliable transportation, a valid Texas driver's license, and proof of liability insurance. Water Clerk. The City of Elmendorf  has an opening for a fulltime Water Clerk. Preferred candidates should have good organizational skills and perform routine clerical duties, need to possess good communication skills in dealing with the general public. Duties include receptionist functions, water department billing, processing payments and reconciling daily receipts.  Starting pay is $13.50 per hour. High School diploma or equivalent and drug screening is required. Computer experience, cashier experience and bilingual ability is a plus. Here we go again. Committing to the McCoy project without knowing the cost.
A citizen asked about the cost and Mr. Morones asked about the cost.

One answer was $75,000.00
Another answer was $171,000.00

Then there was the original projected cost of $270,000.00

Tejeda said this was infrastructure the citizen had been talking about wanting. .. My gosh man - you have totally lost the plot.
How about the old infrastructure that needs updating??
