Running a city is like running a business. I don't know of any succesful business that is being operated by uneducated or inexperienced managers. In order to run a successful city, state or country the leaders must be experienced or educated in economics, government and public relations. I personally know some of the members of the city council and know that at least one of them struggled to even graduate high school and the others lack the education and experience. Maybe they are self centered but their decisions to increase city spending without the resources clearly shows they are unable to manage a city.

Prairie Grouch:
California does have its issues as do many states and countries at this time. California's problem is that they give away to much money to uneducated people on welfare. However I have no issues with The California economy, in no way does it impact my personal life as Floresville impacts yours.
