 		 DTR: "lo que deben de hacer es ayudar a nuestra gente no tienen verguenza!" So, who are your people? It is surely not those white token friends of yours who would laugh if they heard others call you racist (your quote). Is that Anglos? If so does that include only English or do you include other Europeans with the exception of Spaniards and Portuguese. Where does Russians fit? How about dark skinned Italians? Of course, according to the US Census Hispanics, Latinos or whatever name you want to call yourself is white. So, only Hispanics who speak Mexican are not white? Anyhow, read your comments. Your words speak loudly to your character and might I say, it is not one I would be proud of.

Two more months and you crow or eat crow. It does not matter who wins, if the city continues down its path; all citizens will pay for the outrageous spending and missed opportunity for substantial growth. Worthless railroad stations, $5.8 million dollar debt for a money pit convention center, pursuit of $2.1M for another money pit. You can fool people with words but math always wins the day. Of course, based on the statistics of Floresville population, I am glad I am not from here. I am sure math is not a strong suite. Here is some stats for the genius known as DTR.

Floresville Residents Bachelor's degree or higher: 13.0%; State of Texas 25.8%
Floresville Residents high school graduates: 72.5%; State of Texas 80%
Floresville Residents Median Household income: $35,960; State of Texas $49,646

City Manager: $80,000; County Commissioner $56,000
Oh, yes. The City of Floresville has so much to be proud of. There is a wasted convention space that has to do free events to get people to show up. The Center does not generate enough revenue to pay for itself but to some loons in Floresville you have been there once so it is good. Can I borrow their car and say it is good?
