 		 DTR, I have given you several chances to describe what is great about Floresville and you only come back with comments about the Mayor and his cronies and how they are being picked on. Let me tell you what makes me proud of Floresville. The people make me proud. They don’t make the most money, live in the best houses or have the best education, but they work hard to make their families and themselves better. I don’t think I have met anyone besides the Mayor and Joslin who I don’t like. The Mayor is arrogant and incompetent. Joslin is a mean person, incompetent and overpaid. His experience and education would never justify his salary. I am not a big fan of Pena as he has allegedly cheated on his wife. Everyone else here is sociable, caring for their neighbor and genuine. I want residents to have opportunities to make their life and children’s and grandchildren’s life better. For a community and its spending priorities, infrastructure is the key to growth. Education and training (which FEDC is not funding enough of) is the second. With infrastructure and a trained workforce, we can attract better businesses. A convention center and sports complex does not sustain growth or build a community. It just makes those who want things named after them feel good. Let’s elect someone who has a plan; a plan for sustainable growth, and a plan for a better place for people to live and to better themselves. Gomez and folks like you are not dreaming for others but are wrapped up in the selfish art of knowing what is best for us.
